About Grace Life Learning

Spiritual growth touches every part of life.

Grace Life Learning is a Christ-centered space for support, where people learn to know God, understand themselves more honestly, and grow toward maturity.

Our spiritual life is not separate from our emotions, bodies, past experiences, relationships, work, responsibilities, potential, and calling. Every part of our lives needs to be brought increasingly into the light of God’s truth and work.

“Grace is the place where we grow, not a reward for having grown.”

Because we are loved and accepted in Christ, we can have the courage to look at ourselves, receive correction, take responsibility, learn, fail, and try again.

Why We Exist

Why does Grace Life Learning exist?

Growth in spiritual knowledge and activity does not always go hand in hand with emotional maturity, a healthy inner life, and healthy relationships.

Some believers suppress their emotions and cover their wounds with spiritual answers. Some journeys of self-understanding, on the other hand, end up making the self the center. Grace Life Learning does not wish to stand at either extreme.

We want to provide a space where the truth of God’s Word, an understanding of human beings, and the realities of life can meet—without denying sin, but also without treating woundedness harshly.

Our Beliefs

The beliefs that guide our support.

01

Grace is the place where we grow.

Just as a plant needs healthy soil to grow, we also need an environment where we can learn, be formed, receive truth, experience healthy relationships, and grow.

Grace is not something we receive only after we have succeeded in changing. We grow from the grace we have already received in Christ. Because we are loved and accepted in Christ, we can have the courage to see ourselves honestly, receive correction, take responsibility, learn, fail, and try again.

02

We grow as whole persons.

Growth is not only about the spiritual aspect of our lives; it also touches the whole of our lives—our spirituality, emotions, bodies, relationships, responsibilities, potential, and calling.

We believe that every part of who we are is interconnected. Therefore, genuine growth leads us toward a healthier, more balanced life that is aligned with the purposes God has given us.

03

God is the one who gives growth.

We can learn, reflect, practice, receive feedback, and grow together in healthy relationships. We participate faithfully in the process, but we cannot produce growth by our own strength.

Genuine growth is God’s work, enabling us to grow according to His good purposes for our lives.

How We Understand Growth

Insight can come quickly. Integration takes time.

Growth is not a linear process or the result of a formula. Truth needs to be lived out amid relationships, conflict, choices, failures, responsibilities, and the different seasons of life.

We cannot manufacture growth. We can help cultivate conditions that support growth, but God is the one who gives the growth.

Being Born Again Is the Beginning, Not the Finish Line

Being born again is God's work of giving us new life in Christ. But just as birth is the beginning of life, being born again is also the beginning of a journey—learning to live as new people and growing toward maturity in Christ.
